Where Your Donation Goes
The Kiwanis Foundation of Allentown, PA., Inc is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of members of the Kiwanis Club of Allentown. All members of the club (including those on the Board of Trustees) volunteer their time to operate the club and manage the money in the Foundation.
How Your Donation Will Be Used
The Kiwanis Foundation of Allentown uses money from the account to award grants to local non-profit organizations that serve disadvantaged children and their families. The Foundation also awards three $1,000 scholarships to one student from each of our five sponsored Key Clubs. Very little of the Foundation’s money is used for expenses (typically less than 1%); none goes to salary for any member.
Eligible For Tax Deductions
The Kiwanis Foundation of Allentown, Pa., Inc. is a 501c3 corporation so your donation is tax-deductible. You can view a report about our Foundation at Guidestar.
