Several Allentown Kiwanians volunteered to ring the Salvation Army kettle bell on Saturday, December 19 outside an inner entrance to the JC Penney store at the Lehigh Valley Mall. Young Chang had the “early shift” of 9-11 AM followed by Bob Ashcraft and Mayor Ed Pawlowski from 11 AM to 1 PM and Belinda Gray and Joyce Crosby from 1-3 PM. Needless to say, the mall was extremely busy and foot traffic in front of the kettle was non-stop. In six hours, our club bell-ringers collected a total of $348.72 for the Salvation Army Allentown Corps. Thanks to all of our members who “rang the bell” for this very worthwhile Holiday cause!
